Omagh's appeal thrown out

Omagh St. Enda's appeal ahead of today's rescheduled Tyrone SFC semi-final against Carrickmore to get three suspensions lifted has been thrown out by the Disputes Resolution Authority (DRA).
It means manager Paddy Crozier will be without key defenders Micheal Gallagher, Dara O'Neill and Stephen O'Neill, while county full back Justin McMahon is also currently suspended. If that wasn't bad enough, the play-anywhere Joe McMahon and Ronan O'Neill are fitness doubts.
Crozier remains unhappy about the way in which video evidence was initially used by the Tyrone Competitions Control Committee in determining the trio of suspensions following a brawl that marred the end of Omagh's quarter-final win over Ardboe.
"I would not be happy with aspects of this and now we are forced to go into a very important game without a raft of key players. Obviously club officials have taken our case as far as it can be taken," he said.
