Ladbrokes manager appointment odds
September 10, 2010
Tomás Ó Flatharta, John Maughan and Sean Kelly are the Ladbrokes tips to be the new football managers in Galway, Mayo and Meath respectivily.
Tomás Ó Flatharta, the former Westmeath boss, leads the betting at 6/4 to replace Joe Kernan as Galway Football manager according to Ladbrokes.
In Mayo Mick O'Dwyer is playing his cards close to his chest and has drifted out to 7/1 to replace John O'Mahony behind 7/4 favourite John Maughan
The surprise dismissal of Meath boss Eamonn O'Brien has fuelled speculation over who lead their charge to defend their Leinster title next year. Former coach and selector Sean Kelly has been made 2/1 favourite to replace O'Brien with Ladbrokes.
Commenting Hayley O'Connor of Ladbrokes said: "It's like a game of musical chairs with so many familiar faces in the running for intercounty jobs. We reckon that when the music stops Ó Flatharta, Maughan and Kelly will have positioned themselves to grab the Bainisteoir hot seats."
