Duffy aware of family double

Sligo referee Michael Duffy
On Sunday, September 12th, Sligo native Michael Duffy will throw the ball in for this year's All-Ireland MFC final, just 12 months after his brother Marty refereed the senior decider between Cork and Kerry.
It is unclear whether this situation has occurred before, but the Enniscrone/Kilglass clubman is delighted to be just in that circumstance on Sunday.
"I'm not sure if it has happened before but, in any event, it's a great honour for our family and for the local club," said Duffy, who first began refereeing just ten years ago.
"I have a lot of big match experience and that should serve as perfect preparation for the All-Ireland minor final. It will be a very exciting occasion and I'm really looking forward to it."
