Hughes doesn't expect Rogers to start

Down's Danny Hughes
Danny Hughes isn't holding out much hope of his Down team-mate and captain Ambrose Rogers starting the All-Ireland football final against Cork.
The Longstone midfielder missed the thrilling semi-final win over Kildare after picking up a cruciate ligament injury in a club game and has still not returned to full training.
"Ambrose is doing bits and pieces," Hughes said.
"It's too early to tell. It will be down to the player himself and see how that pans out over the next couple of weeks. He's doing bike work in the gym, but nothing major. I would be doubtful whether he can come through.
"You don't want to be losing your captain and a player like Ambrose. But in fairness to Peter Fitzpatrick he did come in and did very well. He has been doing that in training so it was great to see him lift his game for Kildare.
"It's devastating for Ambrose, but he is an extremely positive fella."
