Corofin face Rossie test

November 07, 2008
The race for the Connacht club senior football title begins this Sunday for Corofin as they face Roscommon champions Castlerea St Kevin's in the semi final. The Galway side will travel to Roscommon for the tie and they will be slight favourites to make it through to the decider where either Ballaghderreen or Eastern Harps await. Ten years ago, Corofin went on to win the All-Ireland club title and how the club would like to achieve a similar feat this time around, although Castlerea will provide a stiff test. Corofin have no major injury worries ahead of the match and they will be eager to make amends for the defeat to Roscommon champions St Brigid's in the Connacht final, two years ago.
