Joyce gives commitment to Tribesmen

Galway's Padraig Joyce
Galway football legend Padraic Joyce has dismissed speculation that he's been considering hanging up his boots from the game by saying that he is "looking forward to next year".
Joyce helped the Tribesmen to a Connacht SFC title back in July, but put in an under par performance against Kerry in the All-Ireland quarter-finals that might have suggested that the 2001 'Footballer of the Year' would be calling it a day.
However, he has given team manager Liam Sammon a big boost for next season by confirming that he will be back in a maroon jersey next year.
"I am looking forward to next year and will be working on a good programme over the winter to ensure I am in good shape for the new season," said Joyce
"There are a few new players coming on board every year and we will have a very strong side next year."
