Cathal McShane concedes that Tyrone have plenty to work on following their Ulster SFC victory over Derry.

McShane delivered a Man of the Match display as the Red Hands’ target man, slotting seven points, five of them from play. The Owen Roes clubman is relishing the challenge of leading the Tyrone attack:

“I do enjoy it. I play there for my club,” he told BBC Sport NI. “I'm playing deeper and lying in at full forward more but we're changing it up. I can be out the field a bit as well at times.

“It's a work in progress. We've just decided to work on it recently so it's not the finished article. There are lots of improvement still to happen.

“It's early days yet. It's only the first round. Teams try to get stronger as the competition goes on. We know that we can work on a lot of things.”
