Boyle back from serious neck injury

It was great to see Frank Boyle back in the Westmeath colours on Saturday evening after a serious neck injury almost ended his career last year.
The veteran defender from Killucan underwent surgery last April after suffering the injury during Westmeath's clash with Longford in the penultimate round of last year's Allianz League Division 3 campaign.
He rejoined the panel in recent weeks and was a late addition to the team that lost to a last-gasp Down point in Newry at the weekend. The defeat was the first Westmeath have suffered in eight games under new manager Jack Cooney.
