Denis Bastick says he needs to “up my game” if he’s to achieve success on Dancing With The Stars.

The five-time All-Ireland winning midfielder hopes to emulate former Kerry ace Aidan O’Mahony by winning this year's show and he is paired with the same dance partner, Valeria Milova.

“I know I need to up my game,” the Dubs great told The Irish Daily Star. “I do know that Valeria is a great teacher and she puts together great dances, so if I just do what I’m told then I won’t go too far wrong.

“You know by all the hours that they’re putting in that nobody is really cutting corners. It gives you a true indication that everyone is going at this.”
