€2.1m grant to go towards development of new indoor arena at Centre of Excellence

Connacht GAA have received a grant worth €2.1million from the Department of Rural and Community Development.
The provincial body is one of the first successful applicants under the Government’s new €1billion Rural Regeneration and Development Fund.
Connacht GAA revealed this afternoon that all of the €2.1million grant will go towards the development of a large indoor arena containing a full-size GAA pitch at its Centre of Excellence in Bekan, Co. Mayo.
