Michael Murphy scored a brace of goals as Glenswilly got back to winning ways in the Donegal SFC yesterday.

Following their first round defeat to Ardara, Glenswilly couldn't afford another loss in Group A and the Donegal captain gave them the perfect start with the first of his goals coming inside the opening 20 seconds. He netted again in the 41st minute and despite Jamie Brennan also raising a pair of green flags for Bundoran, Glenswilly ran out 2-15 to 2-11 winners.

In the other Group A game, Ardara made it two wins from two after accounting for Burt on a 1-12 to 0-11 scoreline.

In Group B, Gweedore booked their quarter-final place thanks to a 0-12 to 0-6 victory over Naomh Conaill, while St. Eunan's regained winning ways with a 1-11 to 0-4 defeat of Dungloe.

Malin were 3-12 to 1-7 winners over Termon and St. Michael's beat Four Masters by 0-13 to 0-4 in Group C. Holders Kilcar are also through to the knockout stages after overcoming Milford by 2-15 to 2-6, with Stephen McBrearty (Kilcar) and Paddy Peoples (Milford) picking up red cards.

Sean MacCumhaills have also qualified from Group D following a 3-12 to 0-15 win over Killybegs in Ballybofey.
