Laois boss John Sugrue has made four changes for Sunday's crucial Allianz FL clash away to neighbours Carlow.

Mark Timmons returns to the starting 15 for the first time this season while Robert Piggott, Kieran Lillis, Alan Farrell and Brian Glynn also get the nod.

Shane Nerney, Finbarr Crowley, Daniel O'Reilly, Paul Kingston and Ross Munnelly all make way from the O'Moore County's victory over London two weeks ago.

A win for the Stephen Attride captained side at Netwatch Cullen Park will see them join the Barrowsiders' in the Division 4 final and the third tier for 2019.

Laois (Allianz FL v Carlow): Graham Brody; Stephen Attride, Mark Timmons, Gareth Dillon; Trevor Collins, Colm Begley, Robert Piggott; John O'Loughlin, Kieran Lillis; Alan Farrell, Benny Carroll, Brian Glynn; Evan O'Carroll, Gary Walsh, Donie Kingston.
