Galway football fan John Tobin enjoyed a day to remember at Pearse Stadium yesterday.
Described as one of the county's most dedicated supporters on the Galway Footballers Homepage on Facebook, John witnessed his beloved team win their fifth game from as many outings in Division 1 against Monaghan to put one foot in the final at Croke Park later this month.
John welcomed the teams out onto the pitch before the game and afterwards Barry Cassidy presented him with the official match ball which he later got signed by Galway manager Kevin Walsh and his players in the dressing-room.
