New Dublin hurling manager Pat Gilroy has been handed another boost with the return of Liam Rushe to training.

The former All-Star has returned after being sidelined with a groin injury, eir sport reports. However, next Saturday's Allianz League Division 1B clash with Offaly at Croke Park is expected to come too soon for him.

Danny Sutcliffe, Conal Keaney and Joey Boland have also been welcomed back into the fold in recent weeks.
