Na Piarsaigh captain Cathall King says Slaughtneil represent formidable All-Ireland Club SHC semi-final opposition.

The back-to-back Derry and Ulster champions stand between the Limerick / Munster kingpins and a second All-Ireland final appearance in three seasons. King told The Irish Daily Mirror that next February's semi-final will be hard won:

"They will present another challenge. They are a highly physical and fit team. We've seen them last year and we'll have a closer look at how they have been getting on this year.

"Our U21s over the past six or seven years have been phenomenal. They have brought that winning mentality into the senior group, to lads, like myself, who wouldn't have had that success growing up.

"They've learned how to win. It is a habit. You need to know how it feels to win in the dying moments of a match if it is close. You need to know what to do, you can't put your head down. They've all that experience from underage and have taken really well into senior level.."
