Galway SHC final fixed for December 3

The Galway SHC final between Gort and Liam Mellows has been fixed for Pearse Stadium on Sunday week, December 3.
Gort defeated Craughwell by 1-17 to 1-15 in their replayed semi-final yesterday to set up a showdown with Mellows, who are appearing in their first county final in 47 years. It will be the last of this year's county senior hurling finals.
The Waterford SFC final is due to played on the same day with five teams - Stradbally, Kilrossanty, An Rinn, The Nire and Clashmore - still in the running.
