Brian Mallon eyes All-Ireland success
July 29, 2008
In-form Armagh ace Brian Mallon says the Orchard County is hell-bent on adding the Sam Maguire Cup to their Ulster SFC title success last weekend.
The Portadown native and former Glenavon soccer player was satisfied with his team's provincial final win over Fermanagh but reckoned there were bigger scalps to be had in the weeks ahead.
"These last two weeks should definitely have brought us on," said the 24 year old. "Hopefully we can push on from this.
"The target at the start of the year was the two competitions, the Ulster championship and the All-Ireland Championship. That's one out of the road.
"Obviously we are now in the quarter-finals. We will be targeting an All-Ireland surely."
