Armagh defender Mark Shields is looking forward to tomorrow's SF challenge against Donegal in his home club of St. Killian's, Whitecross.

The game, which throws in at 5pm, will provide both counties will an opportunity to fine-tune their preparations for the championship. Armagh, who recently suffered relegation to Division 3 of the Allianz League, will open their Ulster SFC campaign against Cavan on May 29, while Donegal are out against the winners of Fermanagh-Antrim on June 12.

"We're looking forward to this challenge game and we'll use this game as preparation for Cavan because Donegal, you've seen the way they play, it's the same system - you have to break them down slowly. It's great preparation for Cavan," Shields told the Irish News.

"It means a lot to have such a big game come to such a small club. We're probably one of the smallest clubs in south Armagh, so it's a great occasion to have this commemoration for the Reavey family in our own club.

"Hopefully there's a big turnout."
