Annual Dinner Dance
The club held a very successful annual dinner dance on Saturday night in the Canal Court Hotel which saw our U21 boys receive their championship winning medals whilst our senior ladies picked up their championship runners-up medals. A number of individual awards were also handed out on the night:
Senior Men's Player of the Year: David Boyle
Senior Ladies Player of the Year: Emma Kenny
U21 Player of the Year: Connaire Mackin
Minor Player of the Year: Michael McParland
Club-person of the Year: John McLoughlin
Hall of Fame: Helen Kennedy
A few special recognition awards were also presented on the night with the Mackin sisters, Aimee and Blaithin, being recognised for the All-Star awards whilst Greg McCabe, Connaire Mackin and Mark McCabe were acknowledged for the representation on Armagh teams in 2015. Brendan McGuire and Clare Carroll also received special awards in recognition for their services to girl's football in the club.
Pave the Way
It is hoped that work on the new concrete driveway into the ground will begin in the very near future. To help fund this major piece of work we are asking all members and friends of the club to buy a metre of concrete at a cost of £50 and Pave the Way for the club. On completion of the work a plaque with the names of everyone who contributed to the project will be erected to acknowledge the part they played. The response so far from our club members (past, present and abroad), players (past and present), family and friends has been fantastic. Anyone who has pledged money to the scheme but has yet to pay can do so by calling to the club on Monday night at 9.00pm. If you can't make it to the club you can pay your donation to any committee member. If anyone wishes to make payment via bank transfer they can speak to any committee member who can provide you with the necessary details. Thanks again for your continuing generosity.

Mrs McGeeney was the mother of our long serving and esteemed club member Kevin McGeeney and our Cairde member Noreen McGinn. She was also the mother-in-law of our club and Cairde members Pat McGinn and Brenda Magee and grandmother to Cairde member Conor McGinn, underage mentor Niall McGinn and underage footballers Conor and Padraig Magee. Deepest sympathies to the entire McGeeney family circle....Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam
