Some more encouraging news has emerged from the Ronan Clarke situation as the former Armagh star has been moved out of intensive care.

The 32-year-old was in an induced coma at Craigavon Area Hospital after suffering a serious head injury after colliding with a post during a club game with his native Pearse Og last Friday night.

Clarke's family confirmed that his condition had been improving over the last few days however, with the Gaelic Life newspaper reporting more good news on his recovery today.

It is expected that he will undergo more tests over the next couple of days.
