Kerry's Ricky Heffernan with Conor O'Shea Meath during the All Under 21 B hurling quarter final at Lomans Park Trim

Meath, Mayo, Wicklow and Roscommon are through to the semi-final stages of this year's All-Ireland U21 B HC following today's quarter-final results.

A late Gavin McGowan goal saw the Royals snatch victory (2-15 to 1-17) from the jaws of defeat against Kerry in Trim.

The sides went in level at the break - Meath 0-7, Kerry 1-4 - but McGowan's late strike swung the last eight fixture in the home side's advantage.

In Arklow, Kildare also paid the price for conceding a late goal as Padraig Doyle 58th minute green flag gave the hosts a 2-14 to 0-18 victory.

The Garden County led by 1-10 to 0-10 at the halfway stage and saw off a strong second-half Lilywhite challenge.

Meanwhile, Mayo came away from Letterkenny with a comfortable 1-14 to 1-6 victory over hosts Donegal while Roscommon received a walkover from Armagh.

Today's results means it will be Meath v Mayo and Roscommon v Wicklow in the semi-finals which will be played on Saturday, August 22nd at venues to be decided.
