Following their impressive dismantling of Armagh in the Athletic Grounds, Donegal have four players on our football team of the week while Mayo, Kerry, Cork, Kildare, Westmeath, Meath, Galway, Wexford and Wicklow are also represented.

1. Paul Durcan (Donegal)

The Donegal All-Star netminder had to be on his toes to deny Armagh substitute Ciaron O'Hanlon a late goal.

2. Keith Higgins (Mayo)

Mayo's quest for a fifth Nestor Cup success in-a-row is up and running and their captain played a leading role in their four point victory over Galway.

3. Mick O'Grady (Kildare)

Laois danger man Donie Kingston struggled to escape O'Grady's close attentions in O'Connor Park on Saturday evening.

4. Cathal Sweeney (Galway)

Defeat was a bitter pill to swallow for Galway on home turf but Sweeney was one of the Tribesmen's better performers.

5. Adrian Flynn (Wexford)

The Model County half-back produced a superb display, kicking two points, against Westmeath but his efforts proved to be in vain.

6. Karl Lacey (Donegal)

The Donegal machine steamrolled Armagh into submission and former footballer of the year Lacey was, as per usual, a pivotal figure in the heart of their defence.

7. Ryan McHugh (Donegal)

The Orchard County failed to get to grips with McHugh during Donegal's period of dominance in the first-half.

8. Harry Rooney (Meath)

The Meath midfielder enjoyed a championship debut to remember on a day when many of his team-mates performed below-par.

9. Bryan Sheehan (Kerry)

Kerry manager Eamonn Fitzmaurice singled out his midfielder for special praise after he won his personal duel with Tipperary's Steven O'Brien.

10. Darren Hayden (Wicklow)

The Garden County's half-forward was full of running in Pairc Tailteann and chipped in with three points.

11. Aidan O'Shea (Mayo)

Used his physical presence and strong running to put the Galway defence on the back foot for much of the 70 minutes in Salthill.

12. Padraig O'Neill (Kildare)

The experienced half-forward answered his critics with a valuable contribution to the Lilywhites' 13 point replay success over Laois.

13. Kieran Martin (Westmeath)

The versatile Lake County man notched 1-2 against Wexford as Tom Cribbin's charges booked a semi-final date with Meath.

14. Michael Murphy (Donegal)

The captain pulled the strings against Armagh as Donegal kept the defence of their Anglo Celt Cup crown on track.

15. Donncha O'Connor (Cork)

Handed a starting role by Brian Cuthbert, O'Connor repaid his manager's faith with 1-5 against the Banner County.
