Thomas Davis V Clady         Sunday 10th  May 2015
The young footballers of Corrinshego had a comprehensive display against their counterparts from Clady. From the start Adam Travers and Danny Shields dominated midfield with both scoring some great points from distance. Eoin Lenagh also picked off some great points. Young Luke Fegan making his debut caught a great ball and fed it to A. Travers who blasted it to the net.
Both Jordanna Lambe and Kaylee Mooney also made their debuts in the maroon and white and both girls gave a spirited performance. Ciaran Higgins started in goals and when he went out the field made a mesmerizing run who to be denied goal by a great save by the Clady goalkeeper.
Brian Quinn and Rudi Fallone controlled the full back line , while Conall Havern, Liam O'Brien and Gio Fallone worked hard in the forward line.

Under 12 Football / Peil Faoi 12

The u.12s had their first game of the year at home to silverbridge. The game got off to a great start with Ronan Casey dominating in midfield scoring 2-1 in the first 20 mins. Adam Coghlan also getting a goal. Jarlath Jennings rock solid as per usual at full back doing his best to keep out the silverbridge attacks. Ryan Coghlan first game for the u.12s started well with being at the right place at the right time and getting himself a point and holding a 4 point going into half time. With the wind at our backs in the second half the boys pushed on with Adam travers showing everyone how to score from long range getting 0-5 from play. Micheal Mallon another new comer to the u.12 team also scoring an excellent point from play. And Ronan Casey pin point from free kicks and 45s. Well done to all involved.

Under 16 Football / Peil Faoi 16
Our small under 16 panel have been up against it this year from the beginning of the season, with losses and a string of injuries in Ballmacnab and Tullysaran but have battled hard since their inception three months ago. They finally got their just rewards in their first official home game on the new development.
On a cold Thursday night, the team limited Derrynoose to one goal and one point per half, as they eased to a one sided victory over their Div 3 competitors.
The team started solidly in midfield and in centre half forward. Liam McKeown was given a rare start up front and took his chance scoring well with 0-5 from play in the first half. Centre half forward Ryan Gray also got on the scoresheet, scoring three points from play. Cailum Kilcoyne, Centre half back, also surged forward time and again and floated over a fine point towards the end of the first half, with the scores 1-1 to 0-13 to Thomas Davis at half time.
After the break the home side now concentrated on getting closer to goal and got inside the Derrynoose back line time and again with Cailum Kilcoyne and Ryan Gray firing two goals apiece before goal of the game came from Club Captain Ryan Connolly who soloed from centre half back before firing into the net from 30 yards out.

Well done lads!
