HL2B round-up: Lilywhites kick on

Kildare have surged ahead in Division 2B after a brilliant 2-15 to 1-12 victory over Down in Newbridge.

All the goals arrived in the first half, with the winners leading by 2-9 to 1-8 at the interval. The Lilywhites are now the only team in the division with a 100% record, having also beaten Meath in their opener.

The Royals bounced back today with a superb 3-8 to 0-9 win away to Mayo, while Armagh also scored their first victory of the campaign, beating Donegal by 1-18 to 2-10 at the Athletic Grounds.
