Neil Lennon has joked how his Bolton Wanderers team would beat Brendan Rodgers' Liverpool in the FA Cup tomorrow if it was a Gaelic football match!
The fourth round tie at Anfield is being billed as Antrim v Armagh in some quarters as it pits Carnlough man Rodgers against Lurgan's Lennon. Both managers played GAA - Lennon represented Armagh in minor football - before embarking on their soccer careers.
"If it was a Gaelic match, it would be no contest!" Lennon is quoted in the Irish Daily Star.
"It will be my first time coming up against Brendan. We did have a pre-season game in Dublin a couple of years ago, but that doesn't count."
The former Celtic boss added: "As long as we can hold our own, that's important. It will be nice for people back home and I hope they can take a bit of pride in what we're both doing. Football is huge there."
