Wolfe Tones and St Enda's Derrymacash club notes

November 24, 2014

ScórCommiserations to our two acts in the county Scór na nÓg semi-finals on Sunday evening in Maghery. Dáiríne McCaughley sang beautifully and was extremely unlucky in missing out on a place in the county final. She certainly did the club proud and we would like to thank Dáiríne for representing us. Go raibh maith agaibh to Odhrán, Matthew and Matthew who competed in the quiz as well, but just missed out by a few marks in a very low-scoring quiz, which reflected the level of difficulty. The boys will represent the club in the Armagh Scór na nÓg table quiz, which takes place on Sunday 7 December in the Athletic Grounds. If anyone would like to represent the club in Scór Sinsear for over 17 years old in Céilí dancing, solo singing, recitation, instrumental, ballad group, novelty act, set dancing or quiz, please contact our Culture Officer Seán Ó Maoilsté.
