Mayo's Cillian O'Connor has finished as the top scoring footballer in the championship for the second season running.

Back-to-back All-Irelands may be a thing of the past but in the scoring stakes the Mayo ace has been in unstoppable form. 5-36 from six games saw him finish 15-points clear of James O'Donoghue, who didn't raise a flag in the All-Ireland final.

The Kerry ace was the top scorer from play, with 2-20.

Fermanagh's Sean Quigley finished with the highest average score per game with 11.5.

O'Connor is also the leading goalscorer with five goals to his name, with O'Donoghue, Fermanagh's Quigley and Meath's Michael Newman all with four majors a piece.

The highest individual game tally so far belongs to Quigley (2-8 v Laois).
