Wolfe Tones & St Enda's GAC Derrymacash notes
August 11, 2014
Camógaíocht/Camogie
All the best to our senior camogie team who open their intermediate championship campaign on Wednesday evening against Derrynoose. The game will throw in at 7.15pm in Tullysaran. Ádh mór ar Tom agus ar na cailíní. Good luck to Tom and all of the girls.
Peil/Football
Our senior footballers make their entrance into the Intermediate championship on Friday evening when they take on Clann Éireann at 7.15pm in St Paul's. Ádh mór ar an fhoireann sinsear. Best of luck to Conor, Barry, Darra and the boys. Ádh mór to our minor footballers who play in the championship this Tuesday evening at home against Derrynoose at 7.30pm. Last week's Under 14 game against the Grange was called off due to a bereavement. We would like to extend our sympathies to Doire Emmets' player Francis McGibbon on the death of his grandmother. Suaimhneas síoraí di. The Under 12 and Under 8 footballers both had their games called off over the weekend due to waterlogged pitches. For the latest information on fixtures, join us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter @WolfeToneGAC,
Hard luck to Ard Mhacha who were desperately unlucky against Dún na nGall in the All-Ireland quarer final played at Páirc an Chrócaigh on Saturday. Well done to Finnian Moriarty and all of the boys who did us proud at the weekend and throughout the championship run. Maith sibh a bhuachaillí. Ard Mhacha abú.
