Orchard can "learn and improve" - Forker

Cavan's Martin Reilly holds off Aidan Forker of Armagh

Armagh’s Aidan Forker believes the Orchard County can still progress to the Ulster final, despite letting their semi-final lead slip against Cavan on Sunday.

The Breffni boys were chasing the game from half time onwards but managed to nick a draw at Clones, with the replay set for the same venue this weekend:

“We have talked about it. Management have talked about it,” Forker notes in The Irish Independent. “Kieran [McGeeney] always talks about how can we score more than other teams, not about how we contain them. I think it's the psychology of players that we just retreat a wee bit, take an extra step off them, invite them on.

“But we can learn from that and improve. That's what we will be looking at this week, there will not be much training done. There will be a lot of recovery done.”
