Team news: Orchard ring the changes

The Armagh starting 15 for tonight’s top of the table McKenna Cup clash with Monaghan shows five changes from the team that secured a comfortable victory over Antrim last Sunday.

The experienced Charlie Vernon – who featured as a substitute against the Saffrons – comes into midfield to partner Stephen Sheridan with Jarlath Og Burns switching to the half-forward line.

Up front, Jamie Clarke is replaced by his Crossmaglen club-mate Rian O’Neill in the number 15 jersey.

Aaron McKay (full-back), Greg McCabe (centre-back) and Niall Grimley (right half-forward) are also handed starts by Kieran McGeeney.

Throw-in at the Athletic Grounds is timed for 8pm.
