2019 championship draws take place on Thursday

The dust has barely settled on the 2018 inter-county season and already thoughts are turning to next year.
The draw for the 2019 provincial senior football and hurling championships will take place next Thursday, October 11 and will be televised live on RTE.
It has already been decided to bring forward the Munster SHC round-robin series by a week to ensure no county will play matches four weeks in succession, while the five counties competing in the Leinster SHC round-robin series have been given until Monday to decide between having one free weekend or staggering the programme so that only one game is played on some weekends.
