Kevin Dyas' return to the playing field was a highlight of Armagh's Allianz FL Division 3 final victory over Fermanagh as far as Aaron Kernan is concerned.

The experienced Dyas has endured a torrid time with injury of late but made an appearance as a 60^th minute substitute in Saturday's 1-16 to 0-17 win over the Ernesiders.

"I was never as happy to see a man make an appearance as I was when Kevin Dyas was introduced," Kernan remarked to The Belfast Telegraph.

"The mental strength he has shown in overcoming constant setbacks is simply astonishing.

"I hope he gets the chance to show what we have been missing. It's great to see him back after all he has been through."
