Rory Grugan reckons Jim McCorry's experience can help Armagh to close out more tight games in 2018.
Kieran McGeeney's men missed out on a return to Division 2 last spring after Michael Quinlivan's late goal earned Tipperary promotion ahead of them.
Last month former Down manager McCorry came on board McGeeney's backroom team and Grugan, who captained the Orchard County this past season, has welcomed the addition.
"I think with Jim McCorry on board now we will have a better handle on how to close out games," Grugan told the Belfast Telegraph.
"This year we lost some games that we should have won and this did not help our confidence at the end of the day.
"In the important league game against Tipperary and in the championship against Down we slipped up badly, unfortunately."
