Goals from Michael Hagan, Eoin Nagle, Dermot McErlain and Kevin Small laid the foundations for Antrim's seven point Ulster MFC preliminary round victory over Fermanagh today.

The Brewster Park scoreboard read 4-10 to 2-9 in the Saffrons' favour at the end of the 60 minutes and they now advance to a quarter-final clash with Donegal on Sunday, May 29th.

Hagan's goal on the stroke of half-time sent the eventual winners in at the break with a 1-7 to 1-4 advantage.

Nagan and McErlain found the back of the Fermanagh net during the third quarter to parachute the visitors into a commanding nine point lead - 3-9 to 1-6.

To their credit, the hosts refused to throw in the towel but they had left themselves with too big a mountain to climb and Small wrapped up the win for the visitors with a stoppage time goal.

Eoin Beacom and Michael Og McGarrigle raised green flags for the Ernesiders.
