The late Gerry Barry was a magnificent servant to Antrim GAA.

The St Gall's clubman acted as county secretary for a decade from the mid-80s and was also county fixtures secretary and a club trustee.

He represented Antrim at Ulster Council level and was a well-known face at Congress.

In his younger days, Gerry also togged out for St Gall's in both football and hurling.

The former primary school teacher, who passed away on Saturday, also managed Antrim to the Ulster minor football championship in 1964.
