Belfast Mountain 10K Scenic Run and Walk will be held on Saturday 29th August beginning at 12 noon over the National Trust Divis and Black Mountain. The Event is organised jointly by RunBelfast and Lámh Dhearg CLG and generously supported by the SweatShop Belfast. The exciting event is open to all levels and ability of Joggers runners and Walkers (15 Years +). Our main focus is to put on a sociable and friendly well organised event in one of the most beautiful and scenic places in Belfast. You'll be joining hundreds of other like minded runners along the multi-terrain route, absorbing the panoramic views of Belfast and beyond. Participants will receive a goody bag from SweatShop on completing their run. All runs will be timed and published on the day of the event.

28/08/2015 between 6pm and 10pm;
29/08/2015 between 9.30am and 11.30am.
All proceeds will go to local good causes with the Event being organised as a fund raiser for The Healthy People Project Belfast and Lámh Dhearg Club Development . Parking, changing and showering facilities will be available at Lámh Dhearg CLG club premises which is just a short distance from the start line. Refreshments and entertainment will also be available after the event in Lámh Dhearg Club House.

Gerard Walls Head Coach at RunBelfast explains that team at RunBelfast are focused on delivering fun, social able and well organised running programs and events. Our team have many years experience in delivering both running events and programs for the benefit of the local running community.
We have decided to run this event to support 2 Local organisations who are engaged in delivering positive change with in the local community through physical activity and sport.
The Healthy People Project CIC is an organisation which focuses on delivering physical activity programs and lifestyle advice to groups and individuals within Belfast who have long term health conditions or disabilities.
Lámh Dhearg CLG is a community engaged club who are committed to promoting community involvement and a healthier lifestyle through sport and friendship, especially with the local youth population.
