Crozier promising 'positive' approach from Antrim

Justin Crozier says Antrim will be a lot more attack-minded against Fermanagh tomorrow than when the sides met in the Ulster SFC quarter-final five weeks ago.

Fermanagh emerged as comfortable 1-13 to 0-8 winners on that occasion, but buoyed by their stunning comeback victory over Laois in the first round of the All-Ireland qualifiers, the Saffrons are likely to be a different proposition this time around.

"At this stage why not have a go? We're not going to win the All-Ireland and Fermanagh probably aren't either," the Antrim skipper said in the Irish News.

"It's about days like this for us, big championship games. Beating Laois was a big thing for us, even though it was only a first round qualifier. It's a big thing for us to get a win like that and it would be another boost for us if we could do it again."

Crozier admits Antrim weren't up to scratch in the Ulster championship encounter.

"I watched it back and thought it was a desperately poor game. We were shockingly poor and I thought Fermanagh were quite poor. Both teams would be looking at that performance and thinking 'We want to be playing a lot better'.

"Obviously we would have to play a lot better. Fermanagh are probably thinking they were under par against us as well, so they'll be wanting to lift their game too."
