Antrim will be without three of their brightest prospects for their All-Ireland qualifier second round clash with Fermanagh next weekend.

News that Patrick McBride, Conor Burke and Paddy McAleer are set to spend the rest of the summer in Boston comes as a severe blow to the Saffrons, who celebrated a famous victory over Laois last Saturday. Their departure is certain to hit Antrim's hopes of overturning their Ulster SFC quarter-final loss to the Erne County four weeks ago.

McBride and McAleer have both been regulars under Frank Fitzsimons this season, while Burke was one of the St. Gall's trio - Kieran and CJ McGourty were the others - who were dropped for last weekend's encounter after playing a club hurling game the previous night.
