Antrim captain Neil McManus says the Saffrons will have to make fewer mistakes when they host Limerick this weekend.
Pipped by a point by 14-man Wexford in the first round, the Glensmen welcome the Treaty County to Ballycastle on Sunday. The Munster men scored a 2-16 to 0-22 draw with Waterford in their first outing of the competition...
"It was Limerick who scored the 2-16 and that's an impressive total so we have to be on our toes," McManus notes in The Belfast Telegraph. "Having said that, I think that the present Antrim set-up is the best it has ever been since I have been part of the squad.
"We are getting nearer to making a breakthrough but to do that you need to be winning your home games because it is invariably difficult on the road at this level.
"Sunday is the acid test for us. It's no good us getting scores and then conceding silly ones.
"We have to eliminate those kinds of mistakes and take things on from there. Hopefully we will be able to do better next Sunday."
