The Club and Committee would like to thank outgoing Chairman, Brian McNally, for his service and work over the years. A lot of behind the scenes work is involved in this role and a big thank you to Brian for his time and efforts. Enjoy your spare time now and take it easy.
Big well done to our new Chairman, Paul O'Neill, who accepted this position today. Along with Secretary, Gerard McGrattan, and Treasurer, Paud Mason, Paul has a vision of taking the club to the next level on and off the field. He added that for this to happen, all members must work together. We look forward to this new stage within our club. Best wishes and good luck to Paul, Gerard, Paud and the rest of the new Committee.

Big thank you to Eclipse Cinema Downpatrick for the tickets given to our club, as a way of Congratulations for our victory in the Ulster Hurling Championship. Much appreciated, thank you.

Christmas Turkey Whist Drive - is on Friday 19th December at 8pm. Tickets available from Michael Blair 07754409393, Club Bar or pay on the night. Admission £5.00. Light Supper provided. All proceeds going to Senior Training Fund for All Ireland Club Championship. Also on the night, raffle for various prizes including 300 Lt of Heating Oil (kindly donated by Freeman's Fuels)

Christmas Fun Day - is on Sunday 21st December at 2pm. Come and see Santa, Day at the races for kids, Tombola, Lucky Dip, Disco, Free Tea and Sandwiches.  Everyone welcome.

Ulster Final DVDs: are now available for sale from Paud Mason and in the clubhouse. All proceeds go to the training fund for All Ireland Semi Final. DVDs are £10.00. This would be a great keepsake after such a historical and momentous occasion.  Also a great Christmas present.

Christmas Raffle: this is to help fund the training for the All Ireland Semi Final. Some great prizes available - LED TV, signed Kilkenny jersey, many hampers, vouchers, cinema voucher, hurl signed by Ulster winning team and many more prizes. This is on Sunday 21st December at 6pm. Tickets are £2 and can be got from any senior hurler or committee member.

Club gear and merchandise: most of the gear has arrived, once it is all with us, it will be given out in the Clubhouse. Keep an eye on facebook for further details.

Down Club Draw - in the last draw of the year, once again no winner from our club. Any outstanding money please pay to Paud Mason ASAP. Thanks for your contributions this year. Our own £50.00 draw will take place on Sunday 21st December. Anyone wanting a ticket see their existing seller or a committee member.  Deadline for own direct Debit tickets is 4th January - so if they paid by direct debit last year, and want to pay again this tear, new mandate form needs completed as part of ticket and has to be in by 4th.  Anyone wanting to pay by club Direct debit, or pay in full, has up to 21st January.
