-   Down Senior Hurling Champions 2014: Portaferry have won back the Jeremiah McVeigh Cup, defeating Ballycran 1-12 to 1-11. It was even more special as it was at our own home ground. Big congrats and well done to all the players and to the management. Thanks to all the support, it made a massive difference. We now go on to play Lisbellaw in the Ulster Semi-final on Sunday 12th October in Clones. Keep working and training hard lads.

- Commiserations to our U16 Hurlers, who were defeated in the Semi-final by Carryduff. Let this be something to drive you on for next year and become better players. You are still young, so keep working hard and training hard.
