Cunningham considering his future

Antrim's Paddy Cunningham
Antrim forward Paddy Cunningham is considering calling time on his intercounty career.

The prolific Lamh Dhearg attacker was given only limited game time by manager Liam Bradley this summer and has yet to decide whether or not to make himself available for the Saffrons again in 2015.

"It's a difficult one," he comments in The Irish News. "Some of the players had been talking about this year being their last year due to marriage commitments, family commitments and business commitments as well.

"It's up in the air. But it's a long time to January and people might reflect and maybe give it another push next year. But it's hard to know what way things will go next year.

"I've got two kids now, I've a couple of businesses, I've a school career and I've been there since I was 19.

"At the minute I've made no decisions. It would be wrong to make a call at the minute. I'll wait and see what way things pan out after Christmas and what way Liam and Paddy move forward with selection and so on.

"I'm not saying it's definitely me finished but, looking at the facts of this year, not getting a starting place against Fermanagh and Donegal was disappointing.

"I got a chance against Limerick and I got a few scores but it's a hell of a commitment when you've a wife and two kids sitting in the house."
