Antrim manager Liam Bradley was critical of referee Martin Higgins after he awarded two second half penalties to Limerick.

Bradley took particular issue with the awarding of the first penalty, which he claimed should have been a free out.

"In the build-up to the penalty, our player Kevin Niblock was pushed in the back but was penalised for handling the ball on the ground and it should have been a free to us," he fumed after the Saffrons' 0-15 to 3-11 defeat.

"The referee had his hand up to indicate he was giving us the advantage. He didn't know what he was doing and I hope the referees' assessor will take a long hard look at what marks he gives him.

"We've trained since last September, only for a guy to referee like that. Our target was not to concede any goals. We achieved that in the first half and then this happens. It changed the course of the game."
