It was semi-final day in the Leinster SFC as Croke Park hosted one of the biggest crowds of the year so far.
Not only was there an attractive double-header at Croker, but there was also the All-Ireland SFC qualifier between Down and Leitrim at Pairc Esler, while in the All-Ireland SHC qualifiers Antrim hosted Offaly at Ballycastle.
The latter two matches threw in at 2pm along with the first of Leinster semis as Kildare took on Meath in what was a decent game of football.
Then at 4pm, Wexford were the latest side to try and break Dublin's recent dominance in the provincial campaign.
