Antrim ladies looking forward to historic final appearance

April 21, 2014
Antrim ladies are through to their first-ever league final and manager Dominic Kelly says the Saffrons can't wait.

Following yesterday's emphatic 4-12 to 0-10 semi-final defeat of Limerick, Antrim will lock horns with Roscommon in the Division Four decider on May 3rd.

"Limerick gave us a good game but we just seemed to want it more than them," Kelly states in The Irish News. "The girls are delighted to be in a league final but we have won nothing yet.

"We haven't earned promotion either and we will be back to training Tuesday night with our feet firmly on the ground.

"Roscommon beat us by ten points in the league earlier in the year but with each game that has come we have improved.

"We're better and we're fitter and we're looking forward to the final."
