Antrim manager Liam Bradley is going to swing the axe ahead of the Saffrons' championship opener.
Having endured a torrid national football league campaign (finishing third from bottom of Division Four), the Baker's charges are due to face Fermanagh in the first round of the Ulster SFC at Enniskillen on June 1st and the Derry man says some players will be getting the chop:
"We play Fermanagh seven weeks on Sunday - June 1st," he states in The Irish News. "What can we do in that period?
"We can regroup and I can tell you one thing we have sat down this week and are in the process of bringing a few guys in and letting a few guys go.
"During the league we tried every player in the panel and unfortunately there are guys mentally and physically not up to playing county football.
"I have watched our U21s progress from January. It would be a leap of faith in some of them but we have quite a talented bunch there.
"While I'm not going to say they will be playing senior championship football this year, I feel that they are worth investing in over the next lot of weeks and we'll try and bed them in along with the established senior players."
