FL4: Saffrons come good in second half

March 31, 2014

Antrim's Tomas McCann. INPHO
Antrim picked up their second win of the Allianz NFL with a 3-15 to 1-10 victory over London at Creggan yesterday afternoon.

The winners recovered from a slow start - which saw them behind by 0-5 to 0-7 but substitute Tomas McCann put them one-point ahead at the break when he struck for the game's opening goal.

Another substitute Michael Walsh goaled for London before the lively McCann grabbed his second major mid-way through the second half.

However, Brian Neeson netted a third goal to ensure the Saffrons would coast to a comfortable eleven-point win.
