10-year-old Oisin Braniff has become an internet hit after lifting the Liam McCarthy Cup and giving a wonderfully mature and modest interview.
‘It means a lot (to lift the cup) because I might not get the chance whenever I’m older’, says team captain Oisin after winning the St Enda’s Hurling Blitz in Glengormley, Belfast.
The interview has already had 40,000 views and hundreds of comments of praise for the youngster, who hails from a small parish on the Ards Peninsula.
‘It’s very important (in a small club), because if you’re not friends you won’t play well on the pitch’.
