FL top scorers: O'Shea out on his own

February 28, 2019

Kerry's Sean O'Shea is the sole leader in the 2019 Allianz Football League scoring charts after four rounds.

Sean O'Shea is out on his own as the highest scorer in the 2019 Allianz Football League.

With an average of 7.75 per game, the Kerry centre-forward is five clear at the top on 0-31, despite being tied with David Tubridy heading into the fourth round, but the Clare marksman failed to add to his tally in the defeat to Kildare.

Tubridy may struggle to stay in contention with the fit-again Eoin Cleary taking over the free-taking duties for the Banner County.

Key trio: Kerry's Sean O'Shea, Westmeath's Ger Egan and Donal O'Hare of Down.

Westmeath's Ger Egan (0-26) has fired himself to second place, level with Tubridy (2-20) and one ahead of Leitrim's Ryan O'Rourke (3-16) in third.

Donal O'Hare's hat-trick for Down against Longford sees him join the chasing pack and overtake O'Rourke in the goalscoring charts.
