A serious knee injury wasn't going to stop Arron Graffin from missing the presentation of the Four Seasons Cup to captain Paddy Burke after Cushendall won a record 11th Ulster club SHC title at Ballycran's expense.

The inspirational centre back was stretchered off with a suspected dislocated knee following a lengthy stoppage in the closing stages of yesterday's provincial final. However, his team-mates made sure he didn't miss the presentation by positioning his stretcher directly in front of the presentation area at the Athletic Grounds. Despite his injury, Graffin was able to sit up and enjoy the moment, with a foil blanket covering him.

It remains to be seen if Graffin will be available for the All-Ireland series in the New Year. Either way, Paddy Burke expects Ruairi Og to give a good account of themselves.

"We have not always done ourselves justice on the All-Ireland stage and now we are getting the chance to show ourselves in the best possible light," the skipper said in the Irish Independent.
